Directions to Groundswell
Local Directions:
- Groundswell office is located at 303 S. Paterson Street, approximately ½ block north of Williamson Street, about 8 blocks east of theCapitol Square
- The Isthmus bike path runs right past the office. Parking is available in the lot in front of the building (ignore the sign “parking by permit only”).
- The Land Trust office is located in the first building on the left as you enter the parking lot.
- Enter through the blue double-doors (on the old loading dock).
- Our office is located down the hall to the right (suite 6).
From Interstate 39/90:
- Exit onto Hwy 12-18 heading W towards Madison.
- Travel approximately 5 miles to exit #263, John Nolen Drive.
- Proceed on John Nolen Drive approximately 2.8 miles and turn right on Williamson Street at stop light. (You will have passed under the Monona Terrace Center).
- Travel approximately 0.3 miles on Williamson Street and turn left at the stop light on Paterson Street.
- Proceed on Paterson Street to second driveway on right at 303 S. Paterson. (If you have crossed the railroad tracks, you have gone too far).
- The Land Trust office is in the first building on your left. Ample parking is available in our lot (ignore the “parking by permit only” sign).

From Milwaukee:
- From Interstate 94, exit south onto Interstate 39/90
- Exit onto Hwy 12-18 heading W towards Madison

- From 12-18 (the beltline), exit atJohn Nolen Drive #263.
- Proceed on John Nolen Drive approximately 2.8 miles and turn right on Williamson Street at stop light. (You will have passed under the Monona Terrace Center.)

From Deforest:
- 51 south to East Washington Avenue (Route 151).
- Turn right on East Washington towards the capitol.
- After crossing the Yahara River, you will pass through stop-lighted intersections for Baldwin and then Ingersoll. The next stop-lighted intersection is Paterson.
- Turn left on to Paterson, and proceed about two blocks.
- Turn left into the entrance to 303 S. Paterson Street (just after passing tall metal sculptures of two birds and then crossing a railroad track and a bike path).
- Our office is in the first building on your left.
- You can park anywhere in the lot (ignore the “parking by permit only” sign).
- Enter our building through the loading dock.
